Building on Patterns is a systematic, comprehensive, and balanced literacy program designed to teach young children with visual impairments to read and write using braille.
This posttest measures the skills and abilities taught throughout the Kindergarten level of BOP with a series of tests in the following areas:
- Fluency and Comprehension Tests
- Word Recognition Test
- Letter Recognition Test
- Sounds and Letters
- Phonemic Awareness/Sound Discrimination Test
- Phonics/Sound and Letter Association Test
- Mechanics of Braillewriting Test
- Braille Production Test
